Train & Prepare Leaders for Success in a Volatile Higher-Ed Landscape
Department chairs, program directors, deans, associate deans, and others need support!
What I Do
Leadership workshops
I custom-design a program of leadership development workshops for your team's members and goals. Topics range from cotidian skills of time and task management to the subtle art of providing feedback to the truly challenging management of difficult people.
Team development
Team development examines and enhances the dynamics of Deans' and Provosts' leadership teams. This work includes an audit of current operations and on-campus workshops aimed at assessing and improving the essential elements of a high-performing team, including mutual accountability, trust, and communication.
Leadership coaching
I coach individuals and small groups in academic leadership.
Career coaching
I work with individuals who are seeking advancement into higher-ed leadership positions. My services include searching for the right position, assessing readiness for different jobs, cover letter and CV editing, prepping and practicing for the interview, and negotiating an employment package.

Testimonials
As higher education rapidly evolves, strong college leadership is critical. We've asked Jeanne to provide workshops for our department chairs on critical leadership skills and to consult with college leadership as we effect necessary organizational change. Jeanne's workshops were extraordinary and impactful, and her advice was critical to moving change forward. Jeanne is deeply knowledgeable and a brilliant communicator. She will be a regular contributor to leadership development and our continued evolution as a college.
An engaging and active-learning workshop, led by an experienced former academic administrator, that paired deans to practice real-life scenarios to come up with solutions that can work at any institution.
Jeanne's years of higher education leadership speaks for itself. She listened and learned about what I needed to develop and evolve as a leader, acknowledging my strengths and motivating me to pursue my capabilities, with genuine wisdom and care.
After many years of leadership training, we now have an actionable set of tasks on how to tackle petulant faculty and staff.
